An Improved Bipolar-Type AC–AC Converter Topology Based on Nondifferential Dual-Buck PWM AC Choppers

چکیده
A novel single-phase pulsewidth modulation (PWM) direct ac-ac converter based on two-level nondifferential dual-buck ac chopper legs with inverting and noninverting operations is first proposed in this article. It has the ability to resolve both voltage sag swell problems at same time when used as distributed flexible conditioner. Compared traditional converter, it much enhanced system reliability thanks no shoot-through even all switches of each are turned on, therefore, PWM dead not needed leading improve utilization duty cycles. Only half switched high frequency during a switching period most, which significantly reduces total loss. In particularly, two greatest advantages that retains common sharing ground input output buck/boost operation process for modes. order fully testify performance 500-W experimental prototype built tested different conditions.
